Jesse HiattEiffel Society - Saturday Sept. 4, 2010
Jesse Hiatt moved to New Orleans from Los Angeles in March of 2010, and has proceeded to quickly establish himself as a first rate musician, singer, and songwriter in the Crescent City.  He was raised in the Bay Area of Northern California, and while living in Santa Cruz, he built and ran a recording studio which allowed him time to record his debut CD, Choose Your Road.  During the 2009 Jazz Fest, Kevin O'Day and Hiatt began working together along with Reggie Scanlan, esteemed bassist from the Radiators.  Their debut recording "They Dug a Hole", Jesse's song about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, can be heard in raw form at the top of this page. On Saturday Sept. 4th, The Jesse Hiatt Band will play songs from Choose Your Road, along with new material and some choice New Orleans R&B classics.

A visionary composition of site-specific art, elegance, and sensuous charm, Eiffel Society is a collaboration between nationally renowned Chef Ian Schnoebelen, musician Kevin O'Day, mixologist Alan Walter and art collective Life is Art Foundation / KKProjects (Kirsha Kaechele, Tora Lopez, Elliott Coon and Pamala Bishop).
